BREAKING: TOPCZEWSKI DEALS BELLINGER AND 7th FOR ROBERT AND MONTGOMERY

BREAKING NEWS:

“I Like Ian on Topper” has traded Cody Bellinger (14) and his 7th round pick to “Cashman’s Cash Outs” for Luis Robert (2) and Jordan Montgomery (12).

This is new owner John Sitko’s first foray into the trade market and he secured one of the comeback players of 2023 in the process.

Topczewski had this to say about his process when making the trade:

“Bellinger is due for a regression. While it will likely not be as bad as his last few years in Los Angeles I sincerely doubt he’ll be able to sustain his great statistical year.

Also, I faltered in the playoffs largely due to lack of power. While I think LRJ will regress in HR’s I believe he’s capable of another 30+ HR season”

Topczewski confirmed that he was the owner to initiate trade talks.

Sitko said, “I wanted to balance my opportunity to get value for players I wasn't expecting to keep with the needs of winning every year. I was offered two different players to trade and knowing what 4 of my keepers are going to be I wanted more bites of finding a league winning player in the earlier rounds.”
